The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that Moscow will direct a large batch of medical aid to India in the coming days to counter the severe spread of the Coronavirus.
The Russian RIA Novosti Agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that the Russian leadership has taken a decision to send an emergency flight carrying a large batch of aid, including oxygen concentrators, artificial lung ventilators, anti-corona virus drugs, and other medical products and necessary drugs to India.
The statement added that this aid comes within the framework of friendship and strategic partnership between Russia and India, and with the aim of combating the rapid increase in new cases of Coronavirus.
Today, India recorded more than three thousand deaths and 360 thousand new cases of corona during the last 24 hours, while the total number of injuries reached 18 million, and the total deaths 201 thousand and 187 cases since the outbreak of the pandemic.
