The suspect of having killed a woman in front of her 5-year-old son in Villa Luzuriaga remains at large. Two raids carried out this Wednesday in the Buenos Aires suburbs were negative and investigators are trying to piece together the puzzle to find it. For this reason, this Thursday a
national and international arrest
warrant
was issued
with the intervention of Interpol for the crimes of
sexual abuse
with carnal access,
aggravated homicide
for being criminis causa and for
femicide
, judicial sources assured Clarín.
Gloria Cristina Domínguez Zimmerman (29) was found murdered on Monday in a vacant lot.
The accused of the femicide is a man in a street situation who was
identified by his sister
, who recognized him in the image of a security camera.
This Wednesday there were two new raids to try to find Juan Leonardo Doval (41), alias "Leo", the only accused.
The operations were in the house of the suspect's sister, in Hurlingham, and in a place in La Matanza where the man usually frequents.
But Doval is still missing.
Gloria Cristina Zimmerman Domínguez (29), the woman murdered in Villa Luzuriaga.
The investigators arrived there thanks to the testimony of witnesses who provided information of importance to the case, according to sources in the case informed
Télam
.
Gloria's body was found on Monday in an abandoned property where a therapeutic center operated, in Villa Luzuriaga, La Matanza.
It was her 5-year-old son, who witnessed the attack, who asked for help.
When the police entered the scene, they found the body half naked with
blows to the head
and, apparently, stab wounds.
The autopsy revealed that the young woman died as a result of a severe blow to the head and that there are indications of having suffered a sexual attack, which must be confirmed with complementary tests.
The key to identifying the suspect was the image of a security camera in which the passage of the woman is observed with her 5-year-old son accompanied by a man.
Investigators believe that this man deceived the woman under the
pretext of selling her a tambourine
that the victim intended to incorporate into his kiosk.
According to sources in the case told this newspaper, "Leo" would have met Gloria at the woman's place.
The case involves the Prosecutor's Unit of Instruction (UFI) specialized in Homicides of La Matanza, in charge of Gastón Duplaá.
In the last ten years in Argentina there is an average of one femicide every 30 hours.
According to statistics from the Office of Domestic Violence of the Supreme Court, in 2018 alone there were 278. Most murders occur in the homes of the victims and are committed by partners or exes.
