: Last Friday, around 150 guests came to the Huberhof in Airischwand (Markt Nandlstadt) when it was said: “Laughter, street food and brass music!” In the best weather, the improvisational theater Bühnenpolka provided “Improschau Holledau” the best atmosphere for the best delicacies from host Johannes Selmayer jun.

With the best weather, Airischwand presented an event in which neither the cuisine nor the laughing muscles were neglected.
From 5 p.m., the Holledauer Hopfareisser with their well-known sovereignty and their songbook of Bavarian cosiness per se ensured the right operating temperature and fried noodles.

The team around the chef was well-rehearsed for the technical prelude to the stage polka.
Or, to put it another way: behind the counter actually played the preliminary program for the show, so virtuoso the chefs and the boss handled the call without losing their nerve.

The highlight of the evening was of course the improvisation theater Bühnenpolka with Christl Sittenauer, Lukas Maier, Tobias Zettelmeier and Adrian Klein.
The improv formation has long had a legendary reputation: as the perfect entertainment machine at the highest level.
And in fact there was no long warm-up, the esprit and the noticeable joy of life pearled over after the first interactions with the audience.
Of course, the spontaneity shone, with just a few thrown in words, to bring a whole cosmos onto the stage, from which a new universe of absurdities could then emerge. Improvisation is not considered the highest art form for nothing, because even a wrongly placed punchline can break the tension. However, stage polka masters her profession in her sleep, so that her appearance will also echo in Airischwand as a first liberation after the corona fatigue.
A high point of comedy: applying different film genres to a specific situation, including thriller, Heimatfilm or drama.
Above all, the formation's unbelievable talent for acting emerged, because the mood and dynamics of the same situation changed impressively.
But also the loving corruption of the musical genre through a very loose homage was formidable and also showed a stunning singing performance by Sittenauer.
The high tempo of her improv fragments, similar to a well-edited film, ensured that the time flew by and that the first break started after ten minutes.
