Manila-Sana
An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale hit the south of the Philippine capital, Manila.
Reuters quoted the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology as saying that the quake occurred at a depth of 116 km, warning of aftershocks.
The institute added that the earthquake, which lasted for about a minute, woke up some residents of the capital, without indicating any casualties or damage from the earthquake.
