2021-08-27T12:53:08.162Z

The Seine-et-Marne Fire and Rescue Service, in charge of the management of the two departmental vaccinodromes, condemns the achievement

"Sdis 77 has been informed for a few days of alleged detention and realization of false health passes by agents, working in the vaccination centers of which it manages". The case, revealed by La République de Seine-et-Marne, involves several agents, in particular firefighters, the Seine-et-Marne Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis 77) assigned to vaccination centers from Fontainebleau and Disneyland Paris to Coupvray. They are suspended from their activities because they are suspected of having produced or received fake health passes certifying that they have completed the complete vaccination course when they have not received a drop of anti-Covid vaccine.

According to our information, which looks more like a "scheme" than a "traffic", because there would be no question of money paid by those who obtained in this way a fake health pass, concerns agents of Sdis and relatives. Both upon issuance and upon receipt of vaccination certificates.

This Friday morning, the Sdis 77 staff issued a written statement presented as the only communication that will be made for the day on this affair.

“An internal investigation was immediately launched following which several measures were taken: immediate withdrawal of the personnel concerned from the vaccination mission;

suspension of activity for certain firefighters involved;

reporting the facts to the public prosecutor for legal action;

strengthening of control procedures in vaccination centers ”, lists the firefighters' staff.

Vaccination centers managed by firefighters remain open

The position of the administration placed under the supervision of the departmental council is clearly expressed: “If the facts are true, they constitute intolerable acts from which Sdis 77 completely dissociates itself and which it firmly condemns. At the end of the legal proceedings, Sdis will initiate disciplinary proceedings against the agents concerned. "

As for the motivation of these falsifications, it could be related to the refusal of the obligation which is imposed on firefighters by the law of August 5, 2021. Indeed, professional and volunteer firefighters are concerned in the same way as the nursing staff and non-caregivers in hospitals and retirement homes, professionals and volunteers working with the elderly, including at home, as well as firefighters or ambulance attendants.

It also has the gendarmes assigned on the ground or in contact with the public.

Until September 15, these personnel will be able to present a negative screening test.

Then, until October 15 - date of entry into force of the measure - they will have to justify the administration of at least one dose of vaccine.

Finally, the departmental staff of firefighters underlines that the mission entrusted to it continues in the vaccination centers.

“These isolated acts should not discredit the participation of Sdis 77 in the national drive to fight the pandemic and the integrity of the vast majority of the various agents who fully contribute to this success (…).

"

Sdis 77 recalls that, as of this Friday, 340,000 injections have been carried out in the vaccination centers it manages, including 110,000 in that of Fontainebleau and 230,000 in that of Disneyland Paris.

However, this Friday afternoon, the Fontainebleau vaccinodrome is closed.

Will it reopen this Saturday?

The next time slots for getting vaccinated are available Sunday afternoon on the Doctolib site.
