Only a few days after his 3rd place at the Spanish Open, Guerrier, recovered in a single tournament from 608th to 429th place in the world rankings, once again showed that he is in great shape today.
By returning a card of 67, the French did better than the Spaniard Rafael Cabrera-Bello (68), winner in the play-off last Sunday in Madrid, and his compatriot Romain Langasque (69), provisionally 3rd with two strokes of Warrior.
Guerrier and Langasque also did much better than world number 1 Jon Rahm, who scored a pitiful 78, seven strokes over Par, which placed him in 107th place, four days after a disappointing 17th place in the Spanish Open where he was aiming for the pass of three.
