A man who carried out a knife attack on Israeli forces in the Old City of Jerusalem on Wednesday (November 17th) was shot dead, Israeli police said.

Two members of the border police were "
stabbed
" near a yeshiva (Talmudic school) on al-Wad Street, which crosses the Muslim quarter of the Old City, according to a police statement.
Contacted by AFP, a police spokesperson confirmed that the assailant had been shot dead by the police.
