On September 15, 2021, the victim, in his thirties, imprisoned for nearly a year, waited for a medical appointment in a room provided for this purpose, in the Fresnes prison (Val-de- Marne) when a warden had brought in six other male inmates. An internal investigation in the prison administration is underway regarding this error. In an internal document that AFP was able to consult, the supervisor admitted "
not having looked more precisely in a recess

The court sentenced him to ten months in prison for "
sexual assault with violence, threat or surprise
".
For the victim's lawyer, it was a "
gesture not only intended to demean and humiliate her (...) but also and above all to hurt her
", which caused a "
rupture of confidence
”in his client, who has since been“
afraid of prison
”.
