Various handicrafts, including food, cosmetics, and accessories, in addition to drawing and printing on fabric, and models made of beads, were presented by about 40 women, including engineers, housewives, teachers and universities, in a bazaar (from your hand is better) at the Shaheen Tower Hotel, and it will last for 3 days.
In statements to SANA reporter, the bazaar's coordinator, Najwa Younes, indicated that it is being held for the sixth time and enhances the value of manual work, noting the increase in the number of participants in it, to include, in addition to the women, 5 university youth this year.
Engineer Lama Al-Abdullah said that her participation in the bazaar included handicrafts and household items such as towels with different designs based on the kaleen thread, in addition to Christmas supplies.
Samar Salman pointed out that her participation was part of a sewing team based on the hand-loom machine, through beadwork and embroidery on fabrics to produce clothes, indicating that the bazaar is an opportunity to display various products by the participants.
Raja Ayrout, her age and work as a director of a kindergarten did not prevent her from taking up the hobby of making roses from foam boards, noting that she coordinates and prepares the pottery and glass containers in which she puts the roses by wrapping them with burlap or coloring them with watercolors.
