Feldkirchen is right on course with the new building on Richthofenstrasse, the community's largest investment.
The construction work is on schedule and - as of now - cheaper than expected.
Feldkirchen
– The new building on Richthofenstrasse is the largest investment in the community of Feldkirchen.
And that makes everyone involved really happy.
"Everything is right on schedule and the costs are still pleasingly low," said Mayor Andreas Janson (UWV) in the municipal council.
The structural work on the residential complex with lunchtime supervision has been completed.
All windows are fully installed in houses 2 and 3.
"The winter construction measures were dismantled," reported Sebastian Kuhn from the KMP project control.
The paving work in the underground car park has been completed and the technical expansion is underway in all houses.
The plastering work in house 2 has been completed and is now being carried out in house 3, the screed in house 2 has been laid, all drywall in both houses has been put in place.
"The locksmiths are currently assembling the brackets for the French balconies," said Kuhn.
So the shell is finished, yesterday the topping-out ceremony was celebrated.
The facade scaffolding is to disappear in June, house 2 will be completed in October, house 3 at the turn of the year and house 1 in March 2023. The handover is scheduled for April 2023.
In terms of costs, the municipal council specified a maximum amount – excluding changes, risk and price increase surcharges – of 29.9 million euros.
"Our current cost level is 28.9 million, which is almost exactly one million below the calculation," said Erwin Kuhn.
Therefore, one can currently assume that the municipality does not have to provide any additional money.
But the additional demands of the companies are increasing in view of the raw materials becoming more expensive.
"We will continue to negotiate for every single euro in the future and keep our fingers crossed - but due to world events, the increase in material costs, the onset of inflation and delays in delivery, we unfortunately have to assume significant cost increases," said Erwin Kuhn.
