CDC identifies 9 cases of monkeypox in 7 US states.

According to the CDC, some of the monkeypox cases reported in the US are related to international travel by people from countries where the outbreak is active.

Authorities continue to work to move vaccines to Florida, Washington, California and New York, among other places where infections have been reported.
