Greetings to the Golan.. A cultural event celebrating the hoisting of the national flag in Quneitra

Quneitra Governorate, in cooperation with the Directorate of Culture, the Quneitra branch of the Baath pioneers and the Writers Union in the governorate, organized a cultural celebration entitled “Greetings to the Golan” on the 7th of April theater in the Service Quarter of Al-Baath City to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the liberation of Quneitra and raise the national flag in its sky.

The event included the presentation of patriotic poems that sing the occasion and love of the homeland, as well as artistic and lyrical performances.

In a statement to SANA, the poet Jaber Abu Hussein referred to the meanings of the occasion and the adherence of the people of the occupied Syrian Arab Golan to their land, pointing out that the Syrian Golan took a distinguished and prestigious position in the fields of poetry and literature, and the writers had a distinctive imprint in perpetuating the October battles and the issue of the occupation of the Golan in all literary arts of poetry, story and singing Emphasizing the right to retrieve it from the usurper occupier.

Director of Quneitra Culture Ahmed Al-Marzouki noted the role of literature, writers and writers in documenting the issue of the occupied Golan and shedding light on the stories and tales carried by the people of the Golan, which express their human suffering and their displacement from their villages and homes at the hands of the Zionist occupation forces after the June 1967 aggression.
