The brother continued: "He did not share about the dangers beyond the fact that there is a risk and that it must be dealt with. No matter what position he was in, he was always right to carry out the activity. He really liked the service and his special unit. We got the news when there was a knock on the door. I looked on the phone at A report I received and I was afraid it was related to him. When I saw them I realized, it's just unimaginable.
"We are a very close-knit family, comforting each other. We will miss him like crazy. Last night I spoke to him for the last time. We talked about some business we wanted to do - it won't happen. Eli Hasson, his uncle, said that Bar was on a mission abroad on behalf of the state and received an offer to return to the battalion. "He didn't think twice and returned to Israel.
With all the conditions he had in the mission in the United States, he returned to the field for the position.
He was the salt of the earth.
He loved the army with all his heart.

Rafi Yamin, Bar's childhood friend, said: "I've known Bar since I was zero. I was in charge of the neighborhoods here. Of all the youth, he was the most prominent, he was the leader.
