His brother said goodbye in pain: "He was always first in everything"

Upon learning of his death, friends and acquaintances came this morning to the Falah family home in Netanya.

Tal Falah, Bar's brother, said: "Beyond that, Shev was a great hero in uniform, he was also a great hero to his citizens. There was not a holiday that went by without him initiating something for all types of populations he met. He was physically strong as he was Mentally strong. And he was as sensitive as he was strong - and his strength was powerful. Anyone who touched him, who saw him, first perceived the physical strength and then realized the emotional strength he had.

Friends gathered at the Falah family home in Netanya,

"There was no duty or obligation in his position that he did not rush towards. Sometimes nightmares come true. He was aware of the dangers, he was in a special unit his entire service. He participated in wars, whenever he returned he was wracked with guilt, he always asked: 'Why Not me?'. He didn't hesitate, he was always first in everything. Even when he was at home and there were terrorists in Tel Aviv, you can see him in many videos walking around there with a team from the unit."

The brother continued: "He did not share about the dangers beyond the fact that there is a risk and that it must be dealt with. No matter what position he was in, he was always right to carry out the activity. He really liked the service and his special unit. We got the news when there was a knock on the door. I looked on the phone at A report I received and I was afraid it was related to him. When I saw them I realized, it's just unimaginable.

"We are a very close-knit family, comforting each other. We will miss him like crazy. Last night I spoke to him for the last time. We talked about some business we wanted to do - it won't happen. Bar was a man, a whole man, pure, strong, that's Bar. He was A surfer and introduced me to surfing. We loved traveling together and surfing. He loved anything that had a challenge and adventure in it."

Eli Hasson, his uncle, said that Bar was on a mission abroad on behalf of the state and received an offer to return to the battalion. "He didn't think twice and returned to Israel.

With all the conditions he had in the mission in the United States, he returned to the field for the position.

He was the salt of the earth.

He loved the army with all his heart.

To say he was 'poisoned' is putting it mildly.

He told me: 'I will take care of the soldiers in my body.'

And so it was."

Rafi Yamin, Bar's childhood friend, said: "I've known Bar since I was zero. I was in charge of the neighborhoods here. Of all the youth, he was the most prominent, he was the leader. If this is a young instructors course, and after that he was an instructor in the course. He was exposed from age 14 To the world of surfing and to this day he used to surf. It's hard to talk about him in the past tense. Truly a soldier of the land. He also joined a combat unit in the army. He served as best he could. He didn't say much about the service because he did quite secret things. Recently he also studied. He was a personal example to all the youth in the neighborhood and they always looked up to him with admiration."

It's impossible to digest, I'm sure he was the first to attack as well There. The army was his whole life - that's what he trained for since childhood. He followed him, everyone who passed him followed him."
