Shocking:

an educator from Beit Shemesh, in his 30s, is suspected of committing sexual offenses against minors and other offenses.

At the end of the week, a prosecutor's statement was submitted and his detention was extended for several days.

The police investigation and evidence in the hands of the investigators indicate that between 2012-2015 the suspect worked as an educator at a school in Moscow.

During these years, he allegedly sexually assaulted a number of his students, who also hold Israeli citizenship.

Recently, those boys met and they revealed their secret to each other.

This is how they realized that some of them fell victim to the actions of the suspect.

The victims told about this to the director of the educational institution in Moscow and subsequently this information was also passed on to the Israel Police investigators who opened an investigation and began collecting the victims' testimonies.

Also, Beit Shemesh station investigators revealed another case attributed to the suspect, in which the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted a minor under the age of 16 on several occasions.

In addition, it was learned that the suspect's cell phone contained sexual content including minors and videos in which minors were recorded in intimate moments in a community building and "Mikvah Tehara" in the city of Beit Shemesh.

In addition, the investigators located recorded video conversations ("chat") of the suspect with minors staying outside the borders of the State of Israel.

The investigators of the police station in Beit Shemesh in the Jerusalem district completed the investigation in the last few days in the case of the resident of the city, who is suspected of committing the acts.

The suspect was arrested on November 16 and his detention was extended in court in order to complete the investigation into his case and attempts to locate additional victims.

Last Friday, a prosecutor's statement was submitted against him on behalf of the prosecutor's office, and in the coming days an indictment will be filed against him.
