Nineteen people, including eighteen minors, were arrested on Friday evening at Ozoir-la-Ferrière station (Seine-et-Marne) following a violent brawl between rival gangs in an RER station, a we learned Saturday from a police source.
Around 6 p.m., around twenty young people, some from the neighboring town of Pontault-Combault, others from Ozoir-la-Ferrière, violently clashed on the platform and in a RER E train with sticks. and crutches in particular.
According to the scenario envisaged by the investigators, the band of Ozoir-la-Ferrière was waiting at the station for the young people of Pontault-Combault who were traveling in the RER and attacked them.
The struggle left three people injured, two of whom were taken to hospital for stitches.
RER traffic interrupted for several hours
The RER E train where the brawl occurred suffered multiple damage.
Interrupted, traffic could not resume until around 9:30 p.m.
Contacted by AFP, the Melun prosecutor's office could not be reached immediately.
