The police arrested a 68-year-old mother today (Sunday), after the father of the family was arrested on suspicion of committing sexual offenses against his daughters for years.
The mother was arrested when the complainants claimed that she was aware of some of the moths and chose to close her eyes.
In addition, two complainants claimed that the mother attacked them.
Although many years have passed, the police decided to arrest the mother and she was brought to a hearing at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court this weekend, where the judge determined that the mother would remain under house arrest for a further seven days.

The police representative said at the hearing: "She is involved in one way or another in sexual offenses committed mainly by her husband. Serious and serious sexual offenses that we currently know about at least three girls who were harmed as a result of those sexual offenses. The offenses were committed several years ago. However, the complaints are new from the last time".
The mother's defense attorney stated at the hearing that she claimed she was not aware of the actions the father had committed, to which the police representative replied that there is a strong suspicion that she was aware of the things and chose not to do anything.
Judge Eilat Harnoff, who, as mentioned, sent the mother to seven days of house arrest, stated in her decision that these are serious suspicions that are primarily directed at the suspect's husband, when complaints have only just been filed.
"In the context of the case, the suspect, Aman of the complainants, is charged with crimes of failure to prevent a crime as well as assault. A review of the investigation file shows the existence of reasonable suspicion against the suspect for committing the crimes attributed to her."
