The "hit and run" series makes a dent in Netflix's viewing figures, according to the Flix Patrol website, which monitors the rankings in Netflix's list of popular series (and other streaming services) in each country, and divides them into movies and series. According to the site, "Hit and Run" is Netflix's most popular series of the week ending yesterday, August 14th.

Throughout the first week it conquered the summit in countries such as Britain, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Spain, Luxembourg, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Argentina, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Greece, Malta, New Zealand, India, Jamaica, Turkey, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Nigeria.

Meanwhile in Egypt, where the series was ranked almost regularly in fifth place in the parade of popular series, yesterday the newspaper a-Dostor published an article entitled "Lior Raz and the Israeli character", which examined how "hit and run" and "Fauda" managed to change the Arabs' perception of Israeli character . "We do not really know them," wrote Sara Sheriff, the article's author. "All those who claim to know them - the moment comes when they discover they are wrong. They know us better than we know them. For years we lived with a stereotype about them, almost united, in Arab drama and cinema. The Israeli and the Jew were presented to us as ugly, cunning, deceitful, stingy. "He always wore a kippah and had no feelings or sensations. It turns out that this is also far from reality."
"We did not know all this because we had never met Israelis," Sheriff adds.
"Today we see the new Israeli. A young, European-looking macho, with fluent English, who treats his partner elegantly. He is light-hearted, skillfully skips over buildings, has extraordinary intelligence, and the ability for human touch."
The action thriller "Hit and Run", created by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, among others, aired on Netflix on Friday, August 6.
The series follows Segev (Raz), a former fighter whose American wife is killed in a hit-and-run accident.
He soon discovers that it was not an accident at all.
When he sets out to investigate the issue and locate the culprits, he finds himself at the heart of a geopolitical conspiracy.
