After far too many years without real change, Chevrolet's two major models are being updated in the Israeli market.
UMI, a Chevrolet importer to Israel, will begin marketing the two models in their face-cannon version that was introduced about two years ago in the United States.
First cars will arrive here only in a month and a half (March) in the case of Travers or in about two and a half months (April) in the case of Equinox.
In both cases, an "combat" design RS version is included, which includes blackened rims and logos and a sporty design package on the outside with red stitching in the cabin and other design additions, similar to what we have already encountered in the RS blazer.

At Traverse, beyond the exterior facelift that includes a new front-facing look with grille and new lighting units and new rims, the most significant change is in the area of safety systems.
The large vehicle closes the gap of lack of advanced safety systems with automatic emergency braking, lane departure correction, "dead zone" vehicle warning, rear cross-traffic warning and automatic light control.
In terms of dimensions and propulsion systems there is no change, 519 cm from end to end, wheelbase of 307 cm, with seating arrangement for 7 or 8 seats depending on the level of finish that leaves 651 liters in the trunk.
On the paddle there is the 3.6-liter V6 with 310 hp.
The competitors waiting for it out there? Ford Explorer, Toyota Highlander and Subaru Evoltys have been renewed since they were introduced in new generations and it just will not be.

A standard dual-propulsion version of the LT will cost NIS 303,000 (a reduction of NIS 4,000) and expands, among other things, the list of safety systems.
The new level of finish that has joined, the RS will cost NIS 315,000 and is in a 7-seat configuration (two "Captain" seats in the second row).
At the end of the offer, as in the past, the two higher levels of finish are the "Premier" at a price of NIS 335,000 and the High Country at a price of NIS 360,000.

Like the Traverse, the Equinox also gets a facelift that includes a transition to LED lighting, which causes the lighting units to become narrower and split.
The grill is different and the large air intakes give it a more sporty look than before.
