This morning (Tuesday) the first confrontations between Eyal Golan and N. and T., who claim that the singer sexually assaulted them, will take place in the central unit of the Tel Aviv District Police.

The confrontations between the complainants and Golan are supposed to start at nine in the morning, each confrontation between the singer and the victim is expected to last about an hour and a half, and in total about three hours.

A demonstration of support for the victims is planned to take place at the entrance to the police station.

In the afternoon, the victims are expected to hold a press conference and give a statement to the media.

In February 2014, the prosecutor's office announced the closure of the case against Eyal Golan due to lack of evidence.

This morning's confrontation will take place exactly one year after, on November 15, 2021, T. and N. filed 11 new complaints against ten people involved who were not investigated in 2013 in the case of minors.

The new complaints led to a renewed investigation and reopening of the case.

Golan is suspected of conspiracy to commit a crime, obstruction of justice and multiple offenses of bringing a person to commit prostitution.

The penalty for this can be up to 15 years in prison.

Attorney Galia Shmilovich, who represents T. and N. with attorney Leah Miller Forstadt and attorney Osherat Kirma, told Walla! Tarbut: "T. and N. are very excited about the confrontation.

After nine years they will finally confront those who hurt them, something that did not happen in 2013.

They are looking forward to it.

The new complaints were filed against ten suspects who were not investigated in 2013.

So Eyal Golan was investigated but the case is known to be closed.

The reason Golan has been interrogated several times since April of this year is that new evidence emerged from a new investigation, which necessitated his investigation.

We know that Golan is being investigated for multiple offenses of bringing a person into the act of prostitution, which relate to the new complaints.

In 2013, Eyal Golan referred to T., N. and other girls as El Chafetz and passed them from hand to hand.

For the first time Golan will confront T. and N.

They say that a rotten apple tree does not produce pineapples.

Golan's father was convicted of the crime of bringing a person into the act of prostitution that he committed with six minors.

It gives the impression that the son followed in his father's footsteps."

Attorney Leah Miller Furstadt, who also represents the victims, added: "Nine years ago, T and N were not represented, did not receive support and were not treated like victims of a crime by the investigating unit.

In the time that has passed since then, they have rebuilt their lives, started families and built support circles for themselves.

Today (Tuesday) they will come to the confrontation strong and determined to tell their story so that justice will come out.

Today T and N enjoy a strong backing of public support and legal and strategic support, and the police and the prosecutor's office are also investing considerable resources in order to finally seriously investigate the affair.

Eyal Golan was investigated for numerous incidents of bringing a person into the act of prostitution.

We hope that the reinvestigation will reveal the truth."

Attorney Tal Gabbai, who represents Golan, said: "Let us remind you that we are the ones who formally appealed to the police, demanding to summon the complainants to a confrontation, because contrary to the ability of T and N to spread false and contradictory claims on one side, in a confrontation with Eyal who was there And knowing the truth is another story.

The facts are that the relationship between them was fully consensual, when they were well over the age of consent, just as they themselves testified to the police in 2013 ten years ago.

We are sure that this confrontation will end once and for all the legal torture that Eyal has been dealing with for about a decade and the investigation file will be closed due to lack of guilt."

Orit Soliciano, CEO of the Association of Assistance Centers for Victims of Sexual Assault, said in response: "Ten years after the disgraceful investigation into Eyal Golan's case, the moment has come for correction.

For ten years, T. and N. carry in every cell of their bodies the severe sexual abuse they went through, the miscarriage of justice they suffered and the false slanders that Golan and his associates slandered them on every possible stage.

Times have changed.

Some of Golan's associates have already linked him to the actions, and the end of the exploitation chain will be fully exposed.

We strengthen the Israel Police for carrying out the necessary investigative steps, and call on them to make sure that this time justice will be done and will be seen.

The case in Golan's case was closed in the past because of Golan's blinding power, but no less than that, because T. and N. were girls who faced these mighty forces completely alone."
