In the fourth season of the successful series, the undercover operatives went into action in several destinations outside of Israel, including Belgium and Lebanon, and following on from the previous season, Doron faces heavy guilt over the death of his teammate and a sense of anger and frustration following his dismissal from the unit.

In the review that appeared in Walla!

Culture After the broadcast of the first episode, it was written: "The transition from the crowded streets of the Jenin refugee camp to the clean streets of Brussels emphasizes the clean approach of "Fauda" towards the conflict. The European factors constitute a bureaucratic obstacle between the Israeli security forces and the terrorists. In Belgium it is impossible to operate freely Without the High Court and without B'Tselem.

It will be interesting to see how far this storyline will develop, and whether this sting towards European innocence will strengthen later in the season - and how the international audience that regularly cheers for "Fauda" will connect to this angle."

Well, it turns out that the international audience connected and received it with open arms.
