Stockholm – The Swedish company Jetson has only recently been producing its Jetson One – a kind of flying motorcycle for one person.
But as it seems, the multicopter is proving to be a real bestseller.
And that despite the fact that the first models were only recently delivered to their new owners.
The company writes: "All 2023 production is sold out, but we are taking orders for 2024 delivery".
And the boss himself is out and about with his Jeton One.

Company CEO flies to work himself with Jetson One
At least Jetson CEO Tomasz Patan demonstrates it himself: The co-founder of Jetson shows in a video how he flies his multicopter to work for the first time.
He states that the effort for his commute of four kilometers would have been reduced by at least 85 percent.
According to the company, anyone can learn to drive the drone in just five minutes.
The company Lightyear, which produces the world's first solar car, also shows how progressive locomotion can be these days.

Jetson has been working on development for the Jetson One since 2018.
The foldable multicopter is equipped with four motors and eight rotor blades and can reach a speed of 102 kilometers per hour, according to the company.
According to Jetson, the Jetson One weighs only around 86 kilograms and measures 2.85 by 2.40 by 1.03 meters in flight mode.
No driver's license required for the "flying motorcycle" Jetson One
The multicopter has so far had a range of around 20 to 30 kilometers and can fly at an altitude of 1,500 meters.
The vehicle is officially considered a "Personal Electric Aerial Vehicle".
According to the current legal situation, you don't even need a driver's license, which according to the lawyer you should never have with you anyway.
But the crux of the matter: So far, the Jetson One in Germany can only be flown over private land - unlike in the USA, for example.
For that long, the flying motorcycle will probably remain a hobby in Germany, even if the safety precautions would presumably be sufficient to be used for passenger transport.
Parachute and autopilot protect Jetson One riders in an emergency
According to its own statements, the company would have integrated many safety features into the vehicle.
This includes a safety cell, a parachute and an on-board computer that can land the mini plane safely on autopilot in an emergency.
In addition, a collision avoidance system based on lidar sensors is always on board.
All this has its proud price of almost 80,000 euros for the Jetson One.
A deposit of 19,000 euros is already required for a pre-order.
Thus, the vehicle is already significantly more expensive than most new small cars.
With a range of 20 to 30 kilometers, it has probably been a real luxury hobby item so far.
But the tests and safety precautions show that this does not always have to be the case.
After all, the "AirCar" had recently received a permit for air traffic.
The flying electric car “Volar” could also soon be part of traffic.
