Actor Cody Longo, best known for his roles in the series "Days of Our Lives" and "Hollywood Heights", passed away at the age of only 34.
Longo died in his sleep at his home in Austin, Texas, apparently from alcohol poisoning.
His manager Alex Gitelson said that Longo had struggled for years with alcohol addiction.
In addition to being an actor, Cody Longo was also a singer, creator and music producer.
He released his first mini-album (EP) "Atmosphere" in 2012 and the single "She Said" in 2013. As mentioned, Longo participated in several episodes of the successful American soap opera "Days of Our Lives" when he played Nicolas Almain there in 2011 and as Eddie Duran in the series "Hollywood Heights" in 2012.
Longo left behind a wife and three children - ages seven, five and one.
"Cody was our whole world. We are completely crushed. He was the best husband and the best father. We will miss him and love him always," said his wife Stephanie.
