Rabat-Sana

A team of scientists in Morocco discovered the remains of a dinosaur that lived 66 million years ago and could have crossed the oceans.

Moroccan newspaper Hespress reported today that this discovery came thanks to rocks found in a mine around the Moroccan city of Casablanca, dating back 66 million years.

The dinosaur belongs to the "duckbill" family, which are plant-eating dinosaurs, up to 15 meters long.

The discovered dinosaur was small compared to its peers, with a length of only 3 meters and the size of a pony. Scientists believe that the discovered dinosaur was a swimming animal thanks to its large tails and strong legs.
