The House has just officially re-elected the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi.
216 members voted for her for another term.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy received 209 votes.
Sen. Tammy Duckworth received one vote and Representative Hakeem Jeffries received one vote.
The re-election took place this Sunday when members of the House and Senate took the oath of office, at the official start of the 117th Congress of the United States.
