The Mexican Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded 206 new deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total deaths to 228,568 cases.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying that the number of active cases at the moment is 20,525, bringing the total number of HIV infections since the beginning of the epidemic to 2,614,579 cases, noting that 1,936,266 people have recovered.
Government data indicate that the real outcome of Corona injuries and deaths is likely higher than the officially announced toll.
