A car accident occurred off Caiyun Village in Niuchiwan.
At about 11 pm on the 8th, a private car and a taxi reportedly collided when they reached the junction of New Clear Water Bay Road and Clear Water Bay Road. The front of the taxi hit the right side of the private car and the driver was trapped. .
Firefighters arrived at the scene to assist the people in the two vehicles to leave the compartments.
Initially, the drivers of the two vehicles were slightly injured and were sent to United Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
The police are investigating the cause of the car accident.
