The Cypriot airline TUS AIR will take off today (Sunday) for its first of six flights to the capital of Qatar, Doha.
This is the first direct commercial flight from Israel to Qatar, and about 180 Israeli passengers will fly on it.
The Cypriot airline operates the flight together with the ticket company Tiktik and as of now there are almost no seats left on the existing direct flights.
The prices started from 550 dollars per person for the flight only, the prices of the packages that include flight, hotel and game tickets are higher and vary between the packages.

In general, about a thousand Israelis are expected to fly on direct flights to Qatar and about 20 thousand Israelis will fly to the World Cup on flights with a stopover on the way.
Currently, six direct flights to Qatar will be operated during the coming month, but the airline is looking into the possibility of operating additional flights that will allow the Israelis to reach the World Cup without a stop on the way.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs established a representative office in Qatar that can respond to the Israelis when necessary.
To facilitate the response of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar, it is recommended to enter the country with the Israeli passport, even if you have a foreign passport.
