Documentation of the exchange of gunfire in Kedumim
An Israeli was murdered earlier today (Thursday) in a shooting attack that took place near the community of Kedumim in Samaria. During a vehicle inspection near the village, a terrorist fired a pistol and critically wounded an Israeli, who was pronounced dead some time later. The security forces chased him and killed him.
At a quarter to four, a suspicious vehicle was spotted alone in the community of Kedumim, which raises suspicion at the control center in the community. He walked around the settlement, apparently wanting to penetrate into the settlement.
A civilian patrol of the community and a patrol of the Givati Patrol near the settlement were sent to the scene. The patrolman arrives at the car first, asks the terrorist for certificates and inspects him and his vehicle.

At this stage, the military patrol with 4 fighters joins the inspection. When they unload, the terrorist pulls out a gun and shoots. An Israeli is hit by one fatal bullet, and the terrorist begins to flee. The rest of the fighters unload from the vehicle, fire at the terrorist and hit him. Additional forces arrive and charge at the terrorist and neutralize him. The whole incident actually lasted only a few seconds.
The security forces made sure it was only one terrorist. They understand that he came riding and alone. And as soon as he was killed, the incident ended.
