You didn't really think that last night's big protest on the Ayalon Highway would pass without the attention of TV presenter Ofira Asayag. On Wednesday night, as riots broke out in Israel's three largest cities, she shared photos with her online followers of the chaos that ensued, following which she was unable to attend the wedding she planned to attend.

The matter occupied Asayag throughout the last 120 hours. "That's how it starts!" she cried out in her story. "Demonstrators came to demonstrate near the home of 'Defense Minister' Gila Gamliel. One of her security guards decided to take the law into his own hands. Shame and disgrace raising a hand on a woman. Shame. And what did she do? She demonstrated for the future of us all. Did you walk with a flag near the minister's house?" she found it hard to understand. Hours later, she added a screenshot of a cynical sign from inside the protests. "My friend lives in a building with 64 tenants. 56 in favor of urinating in the lobby and <> against. He asks if the majority decides?!" Ofira added: "There's no need to say more than that."
But Asayag kept saying and how. When the protest began last night on the Ayalon Highway, Ofira wrote against the background of the protesting crowd: "And I thought I would make it to Or Barak's wedding. Congratulations, Light. Congratulations, May. The country is burning, and the protesters are right! I promise to reach an alliance." Later she updated against the background of pictures of traffic jams from Ayalon. "All Ayalon Highways are blocked. Our country has been destroyed, and the demonstrators are not resting and fighting for all of us!" she declared.
In a recent story addressing the matter, she posted a photo of her legs in a situation where she was resting in bed. "I stayed home. Unable to move. The state is gone for us," she stated.
