The victim herself was not very vocal when asked by the investigators. Friday night, a 26-year-old man was shot in the legs during a brawl involving about thirty individuals near the square Jacques-Prévert, in the district of Beauval, in Meaux (Seine-et-Marne). The investigation was entrusted to the judicial police of Meaux.
It is about 23 p.m. when the police intervene in the Beauval district to put an end to this brawl. On the spot, the police discovered the injured youth. The latter is quickly taken care of by the emergency services and taken to the hospital. His prognosis is not engaged.
For the time being, the origins of this brawl between bands remain undetermined. The victim herself was uncooperative with law enforcement. Contacted, the prosecutor's office of Meaux could not be reached.
In April, another 17-year-old was seriously injured by a hammer blow during a brawl in the Verrière sector, in the same district of Beauval. A sector that was also very affected during the recent riots in early July. The shopping centre in the area was looted and ransacked on the night of 29 June.
