Nantes: a man assaulted during a brawl with a shard of a bottle

The CCTV images helped to confirm the victim's words. Tuesday evening, around 23 p.m., at Place Jacksonville, located near the Gare Maritime tram stop, on the banks of the Loire in Nantes, a brawl broke out between two individuals. The origin of the fight remains unclear.

Still, one of the two protagonists would have struck with a shard of a bottle. He was also found in possession of a nail clipper, evokes the Figaro a police source, confirming information from Press Ocean. "In custody, the suspect partially admitted the alleged facts," reports the same source.

Hand Clinic

Clearly drunk at the time of the brawl, the suspect refused to submit to a blood alcohol test after his arrest. He was arraigned on Thursday morning. He must be brought before a judge in the afternoon for an immediate appearance.

The victim sustained serious injuries to one hand. Transported by emergency services to the hand clinic in Saint-Herblain, she was operated on Wednesday.
