On the way to a historic transition? A very interesting report comes Wednesday evening from Italian journalist Luca Benodi. Bayern Munich, German champions for the past 11 seasons, have named Daniel Perez. The 23-year-old goalkeeper holds a German passport and is reportedly considered by the Bavarians to be an interesting potential to replace Manuel Neuer. At the moment, Bayern only asked for details about the goalkeeper and asked about the costs.
Perez was nominated for a number of French and German clubs during the summer following his superb performances at the European Junior Team Championship, stopping two penalties against Germany.
