In his first comment on the addition of Daniel Perez, Bayern CEO Jan Christian Dresen said on Friday: "I'm not talking about names unless they're closed. In this context - Daniel Perez is a good boy, a great goalkeeper. I don't want to comment on names. We have reconsidered the option of landing a young goalkeeper for the long term, but we are definitely counting on Manuel Neuer. I'm sure he'll be back in training sooner than expected."

Meanwhile, Bayern beat Werder Bremen 0-4 in the opening round of the Bundesliga tonight. Leroy Sané scored a pair (4, 90) as Harry Kane, who also cooked up Sané's first goal, added an own goal in the 75th minute and Mathias Tell (90+4) scored.
