Refueling operation. Seeing the long convoys of armoured vehicles heading towards military bases on the border with Lebanon on Sunday (8 October), the residents of the Galilean town of Kfar Tabor did not hesitate for a second. In the space of an hour, makeshift tables have been set up on the side of the road, and volunteers make sandwiches on them by chain, before distributing them to the soldiers. They are soon joined by other locals, their arms laden with food, bottled water, soda and other treats that they hurl at the tanks and their occupants. Soldiers smile under their harness of helmets and bulletproof vests, responding by forming hearts with their fingers.
