Israeli President Isaac Herzog was interviewed Wednesday night by the British newspaper Daily Mail, and among other things, attacked the BBC channel for its coverage and reporting of the explosion at the Gaza hospital.
"To me, the BBC report is shocking," Herzog said, adding: "The fact that the channel does not recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization requires a legal battle and a total public struggle, it's unbelievable. What other kind of torture do they want before they decide it's a terrorist organization? I saw severed heads, I saw horrifying pictures, children being shot, and painful stories of entire families being wiped off the face of the earth. What else do they need to admit that we are dealing with the worst terrorist organization in the world?"

The president also noted during his interview with the British newspaper: "The death toll on October 7 is 7 times worse than the September 11 attacks, considering that the US population is much larger.
It is a struggle for civilization, a struggle for humanity. We are at the forefront of this struggle and we are defending the whole world." President Herzog made it abundantly clear that: "We cannot continue to live with an Islamic state on our borders. We need to uproot this terror infrastructure."
