A confrontation broke out Saturday evening near Netanya College between Jews and Arab students. There is a synagogue next to the college, and according to the worshippers, during the Shabbat, the Arab students deliberately played music at a high volume in order to disturb them in prayer. They also claimed that the students threw eggs at worshippers on their way to the synagogue.

At the end of Shabbat, the worshippers came to confront the Arab students. The confrontation was circulated on social media, which brought more Jews to the scene to confront the Arab students. Following the clashes, police were called to the scene. The policemen separated the two camps, which quarreled between them.
