Three weeks after Hamas' surprise attack and the outbreak of a war that claimed the lives of over a thousand people, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will answer questions from journalists this evening (Saturday) at 20:30 p.m. for the first time.
The three will present a common front against the latest events in the war, and for the first time Netanyahu will answer journalists' questions. Similarly, Gantz and Galant did so last week. Now, Prime Minister Netanyahu will address journalists' questions three weeks after Black Saturday.
Earlier this evening, the prime minister met with representatives of the families of captives and abductees held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip for the past 22 days.
In a statement on Wednesday, Netanyahu referred for the first time to his role in the failure that led to Hamas' surprise attack, but refrained from taking responsibility: "October 7 was a black day in our history. Everyone will have to give answers, including me."
