Humanitarian aid continues: The limited War Cabinet decided on Sunday to open a second water pipeline from Israel to Gaza, with water flowing into the southern Gaza Strip. It is believed that the decision comes as a result of American pressure.
Several ministers in the political-security cabinet told Israel Hayom that they oppose renewing the water supply, especially since there is no humanitarian action against the hundreds of abductees held by Hamas.

An Israeli source added that the increased water supply to the Gaza Strip was intended to buy Israel more international credit, and that the move served the purposes of the fighting and pulling the Gaza population southward. He added that when possible, Israel would stop supplying water to Gaza altogether, but at the moment the situation in the southern Gaza Strip necessitated increased flow of water to the population.
Meanwhile, this evening the full political-security cabinet will convene. A cabinet meeting will be held tomorrow.
