A new shooting occurred last night in Marseille, on the Boulevard Lafuente, probably as part of a settling of scores against a backdrop of drug trafficking, Le Figaro learned from police sources.
Police were called around 2 a.m. following a shooting by two individuals riding a black T-Max scooter. The 29-year-old victim was found in cardiorespiratory arrest and pronounced dead at 2:30 a.m. by emergency services.
The police found the gunmen's scooter, set on fire, in the Aygalades housing estate north of the city.

The victim was known to the justice system for his involvement in drug trafficking. The man had just returned home when he was killed; Numerous 9mm shell casings were found on the street and on his scooter.
The investigation is being investigated by the judicial police of Marseille.
