Days of tension in Europe: A large Jewish school in France was evacuated from students after a bomb threat was apparently received in the building.
The Alliance school in Fauillon-sous-Bois, a suburb east of the capital Paris, was evacuated from its 2,000 students after receiving an anonymous threat of intent to harm the institution.
The authorities acted immediately and evacuated all students and staff to a nearby stadium, where parents were instructed to go to take their children home. There were no casualties during the incident.
Concerned parents wrote to the French-Jewish news website Israel News that the roads to the school were closed and they had been struggling to get to pick up their children for a long time.
