The tourism industry is on hold and very few Israelis are flying around the world these days. On average, about 7,000 passengers take off from Israel every day, many of them businessmen, foreigners, etc., and there are also very few Israelis who choose to get some air overseas.

Two very popular destinations among Israeli tourists, especially discharged soldiers flying on a trip to South America, are Colombia and Chile. Both countries decided to return their ambassadors from Israel back to their countries following the war. This is a relatively dramatic step, stemming from the Iron Sword War.

Another country that has taken an even more severe step is Bolivia, which chose to sever ties with Israel. It is important to emphasize that Bolivia, a poor country that faces enormous difficulties of crime within the country, is considered one with which Israel had no real relations anyway.

In contrast to those South American countries, there is a European country in which support for Israel is felt throughout the fighting, in the government, in the streets and almost everywhere. The Czech Republic, considered a close friend of Israel even in normal times, shows exceptional support for Israel.

Israelis in Prague report that Israeli flags hang on almost every corner. An Israeli tour guide who lives in Prague even sent us some photos, as you can see, of Israeli flags flying on official buildings in Prague.

In addition, the Czech defense minister announced that she was calling to leave the UN following the controversial resolutions made there. "Let's get out of the UN, I'm ashamed of them," said Jana Chernokhova, the Czech defense minister.

Of course, the Czech support joins a number of other countries whose governments clearly and openly back Israel, including Germany, the United States, England, Italy and many other countries around the world.
