An indictment was filed against a 21-year-old resident of Tamra on suspicion of shooting at a playground in Shfar'am at the beginning of last November. The State Attorney's Office is asking the court to extend his detention until the end of the proceedings.
On 4 November, a report was received of shots fired at a business in Shfar'am. After several days of interrogation, Galilee District police detained a suspect who committed the act, along with the weapon used in the suspected shooting.

As the investigation progressed, investigators were able to obtain a photograph taken about 20 minutes before the shooting, with the suspect armed with a handgun and wearing the same clothing seen in the shooting video.
The police said: "The Northern District police continue the persistent war against violence in Arab society, alongside preparing and responding to the challenges of an iron sword war."
