In one month of existence, it is already convincing part of the Great West. The MonPêcheur application, a new free service, designed to put customers in touch with fisherman-producers, is a hit, and now has 4,500 registrants.
"The concept is simple: we give access to fisherman profiles and announcements that will give the fishing technique, the name of the fisherman and his boat, the quantity of products available, the price and the place of sale", explains its creator, Lisa Djeradi. Aged 33, this entrepreneur from Finistère asked herself the right questions at the end of 2017: “I sometimes saw fishermen who tried to sell live via Facebook, right out of the boat, but you had to access their network: no always obvious. "
"MonPêcheur allows you to create a short circuit of ultra-fresh fishing, but also social ties, and therefore to enhance the know-how and products, which we do not always know well, and whose seasons we often ignore" , she adds.
Complementary auctions
Lisa Djeradi therefore approached the Departmental Fisheries Committee (CDPMEM29), the Iroise Marine Park and many professionals. Among them, Philippe Perrot, who teases scallops in winter and also sits on the board and bureau of the Departmental Fisheries Committee. “There is a real demand; I have many new clients who want to know how we fish, how we cook, etc. ". And the Brestois add “everything is done according to the rules, and in real complementarity of the auctions”.
The other Breton departments, but also Vendée and Normandy, are also very interested in the project. The Region and the DLAL FEAMP (European funds linked to fishing projects) will join the adventure.
