Access to the impots.gouv.fr site, allowing you to file your income tax return online, is inaccessible due to a "technical incident"

Unable to connect to the tax site this Thursday evening.

Instead of the home page, this word on a white background appears: “Following a technical incident, access to impots.gouv.

is unavailable.

Our IT teams are actively working to restore service as soon as possible.

Reserved rights

Blocked for several hours already, as BFM notes, access to the site should be restored by Friday morning, assures the Ministry of the Economy.

The online tax declaration, now compulsory, is closed for everyone.

Tolerance was granted to taxpayers unable to use the Internet (white zone, accommodation not connected to the Internet, elderly people).

The deadline for the paper declaration was set for May 20, while taxpayers residing in departments 55 to 976 (Mayotte) had until Tuesday, June 8 to do so online (and earlier for others).

Even if millions of households (12 million in 2020) benefit from the automatic declaration, the tax administration still advises to verify the pre-filled information.

If everything is correct and complete, nothing can be done and the absence of modification is valid for validation.

Contacted, the Ministry of the Economy had not yet responded to our requests.
