The Federation of Oil Producers sealed at the headquarters of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security of the Nation an agreement with the employer representatives of the CIARA, CIAVEC and CARBIO chambers.
After the negotiation, they achieved a 48.5% increase that will take the basic salary above $ 100,000 as of July 1, 2021.
They also agreed to the payment of
an extraordinary sum of $ 40,000, to be paid in September
, for those essential workers who performed functions during the term of the ASPO.
The sum is
complementary to the $ 90,000 bonus agreed in December 2020.
The union's proposal was based on the right to a Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salary according to its definition in article 14 bis of the National Constitution and article 116 of the Labor Contract Law, that is, to ensure workers "food adequate housing, decent housing, education, clothing, health care, transportation and recreation, vacations and foresight ”, they stated from the union.
In this way, the agreement will bring the initial basic salary to $ 100,059.31 as of July 1 and to $ 110,065.24 as of August 1.
In percentage terms, it
implies a 48.5% annual increase,
considering from January to December of this year, without taking into account the extraordinary amounts that will be given only once.
In December there will be a new review, before starting the negotiation of the joint 2022.
Based on the agreement signed on the date of the date, the salaries are made up as follows:
