Mercado Libre announced the purchase of the Brazilian logistics company Kang.

In this way, it seeks to consolidate its position in the region.

The operation, the amount of which is not yet known, reinforces the strategic alliance with Kangu, which offers more than 5,000 shipping and delivery points for sellers and consumers who buy items 'online', of which more than half are in Brazil.

Currently, Kangu operates in Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, according to 'Bloomberg'.
