SNCF strike: TGV, RER, Transilien, TER… traffic forecasts for this Tuesday, January 7

After more than a month on strike against pension reform, train traffic is improving on the SNCF network


It will be the 34th day of strike. While the protest movement against the pension reform continues after more than a month of discontent, the forecasts announced by the SNCF this Monday for Tuesday January 6 confirm overall the improvement in traffic observed in recent days.

Thus, and while the government and the unions resume negotiations, travelers will be able to count on average on one Transilien on two, six circulations out of ten on the TER lines, three TGV on four, international traffic "disturbed" and two five out of five trains on the Intercités lines. Here are the detailed forecasts.

TGV

East axis: 4 trains out of 5.

Atlantic axis: 7 trains out of 8.

North axis: almost normal

South-East axis: 3 trains out of 4.

Intersectors: 3 out of 5 trains.

Ouigo: 4 out of 5 trains.

International traffic

Eurostar : 9 out of 10 trains.

Thalys: 4 out of 5 trains.

Lyria: 1 train out of 2.

Inoui TGV to Italy: 1 train out of 3.

Alleo (to Germany): 1 train out of 2.

RENFE-SNCF (to Spain): 1 train out of 2.

Intercity traffic

Day intercities: 2 trains out of 5.

Night intercities: no traffic.

Paris - Limoges - Toulouse: 5 return trips

Bordeaux - Marseille: 3 round trips

Clermont-Ferrand - Neussargues: 1 round trip

Toulouse - Hendaye: 2 round trips

Clermont-Ferrand - Lyon: no traffic

Nantes - Bordeaux: no traffic

Nantes - Tours - Lyon: 2 return trips

TER

6 circulations out of 10 on average.

Bourgogne Franche Comté: 8 out of 10, including four by bus

Brittany: 7 out of 10, including one by bus

Center - Val-de-Loire: 7 out of 10, including one by bus

Grand Est: 6 out of 10, including one by bus

Hauts-de-France: 4 out of 10

Normandy: 6 out of 10

New Aquitaine: 6 out of 10, including two by bus

Occitanie: 5 out of 10, including two by bus

Pays de la Loire: 6 out of 10, including one by bus

Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur: 7 out of 10, including one by bus.

As a reminder, exchanges are free of charge and at no additional cost. The SNCF indicates that "if you cannot exchange your ticket, buy a new ticket and request its refund later".

The Transilien

Line H: 1 train out of 2 on all axes. The Creil - Persan - Valmondois - Pontoise link is partially provided by train and supplemented by buses.

Line J: 2 trains out of 3 on average across all branches.

Line K: 2 trains out of 3 on Paris - Crépy + bus connections between Crépy and Mitry.

Line L: 2 trains out of 3 on all branches.

Line N: 1 train out of 2 for all axes.

Line P: All branches are served all day with an average of 1 train out of 2. The Meaux La Ferté-Milon service is partly provided by bus.

Line R: 1 train out of 5 (Transilien and TER trains).

Line U: 1 train out of 2 over the period 6h / 22h.

The RER

RER A: 1 train on 2 on average during peak hours on the Cergy and Poissy branches and 1 train per hour and per axis during off-peak hours. Interconnection is provided at Nanterre-Préfecture.

RER B: 1 train on 2 on average. The interconnection is suspended at Paris-Nord station.

RER C: All branches are served all day with 2 trains out of 5 on average.

RER D: North: trains terminate at Châtelet origin, all routes are served with 1 train out of 2 at peak and one train out of 3 during off-peak hours.

South: 1 train on 3 on the Paris-Lyon - Corbeil station and Paris-Lyon - Melun station supplemented by 1 train on 5 on Corbeil - Melun and Juvisy -Malesherbes.

The interconnection is suspended between Châtelet and Paris-Lyon station.

RER E: 2 trains on 3 on average on the Haussmann - Chelles and Haussmann - Villiers - Tournan axes.

Trams

Tram 4: Frequency of 12 min.
