The Arab Reading Challenge initiative announced today the names of the top ten students, the best school and the best coordinator in Syria, during a closing ceremony organized by the Ministries of Education and Culture at Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts in Damascus.

The student Sham Muhammad Al-Bakour from Aleppo Governorate, who will represent Syria in the competition for the title of the Arab Reading Challenge Champion in the United Arab Emirates, won the first place, while the second place was won by the student Mary Abdel Nasser Khaddour from Lattakia Governorate, the third place by the student Medhat Ziad Youssef from Tartous Governorate, and the fourth place the student Souad Jasser from Aleppo Governorate, the student Tala Murad from the Syrian Trust for Development in As-Suwayda Governorate won the fifth place, the student Judy Ahmed from the Quneitra Governorate, the sixth place, and the seventh place, the student Yaqeen Asaad Jamida from Deir Ezzor Governorate, the eighth place, the student Judy Jassim Hamish from Damascus Governorate, and the ninth place The student Almy Muhammad Fajr from Hama governorate, while the tenth place was won by the student Wissam Ali Anis from the governorate of Damascus Suburbs.

The Martyrs Girls' School in Damascus Governorate won the best distinguished school in Syria, and the coordinator Haneen Al-Abdullah from As-Suwayda Governorate won the best coordinator of the competition in Syria.

It is noteworthy that the Arab Reading Challenge initiative was launched by the United Arab Emirates in its sixth edition, in which Syria is participating for the first time.
