5 things you may not have known about coffee ("Do not miss" system)

There are quite a few people who prefer not to be approached at all before they put a cup of coffee in their body, and almost all of us start the day with it (and continue).

Happily, drinking coffee has some proven health benefits: improving memory and alertness, and even contributing to a longer lifespan (mostly thanks to the powerful antioxidants it contains).

But second, before you rush to make yourself another cup (how much is it already, your second today? Third? More ??), consider that additives like sugar or milk in high fat percentages impair the health value of coffee.

And when it comes to coffee drinks like aces, which are pre-prepared and sold in coffee chains, the caloric value and sugar content can really skyrocket to average dessert levels.

The conclusion to be drawn from this is that drinking coffee can be healthier or less healthy, depending on how you drink it.

And just as there are toppings that make your coffee less healthy, there are also some that make it healthier.

And an example of one such is cinnamon.

Scattering a little of this winter spice in or over your cup of coffee can greatly help their metabolism.

Adding a little cinnamon to a cup of coffee will help your body burn fat faster, according to a new study from the University of Michigan Institute of Life Sciences.

The researchers exposed samples of human fat cells to a substance called cinnamaldehyde - which is the substance that gives cinnamon its unique taste and smell - and saw that as a result the cells began to produce more genes and enzymes that caused them to burn fat, instead of storing it.

Some people are already doing it.

Although at this stage the study can not yet say exactly how many kilograms this habit can save us, but according to the researchers it can certainly be concluded that adding cinnamon to coffee is a positive habit that may contribute to the metabolism in the body.

In the future they hope to continue researching the subject and discover just how lucrative this habit can be for our sector.
