There is no need to discuss here the notoriety of Cédric Grolet, sweet eminence of Alain Ducasse, social media superstar and world champion of queues, whether in his pastry shop at Meurice or at his Opera store.
Often, the foodosphere is agitated for nothing… Not this time.
For several seasons now, the young chef has been shaking up the sweet scene between cute fake fruits and classic topspin creations that have maddened counters on Instagram.
The best is obviously to bite into it.
Eternal favorite for the Fleur de Vanille tart, whose skilfully sculpted petals of whipped cream rest on a quadruple thickness of vanilla delicacy: light almond biscuit, milk jam, praline and sweet dough.
A model of balance and contrast between soft and crisp.
Simply sublime.
Something to forget in a bite the hefty prices and online reservation, to plan two days before, unless you prefer to queue.
